Late Blossom (2011)
On the snowy ramp, the milk delivery old man Jin Wanxi (Li Shunzai) encounters the waste collector Song Yifen (Yin Xiujing). They each had a hard life in the first half of their lives: Wan Xi went her own way when she was young and did not feel guilty until her wife died of illness; Yifen was abandoned by her beloved man in the corner of the city, and her child died young. The two old men met in the quiet street in the early hours of every morning, and their lonely and miserable life brought them closer and closer. Under the thread of Wan Xi's granddaughter Yuna (Song Zhixiao), the throbbing like first love germinates in each other's hearts. Wan Xi's friend and parking lot manager Zhang Junfeng (Song Zaihe) has been patiently caring for his wife who suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Until one day, Junfeng learned that his wife was terminally ill. Seeing her suffering from illness again and again, Junfeng, whose heart was wrenched like a knife, made a sad decision. The film is adapted from the work of the famous Korean Internet cartoonist Jiang Cao of the same name, and the public stage play of the same name has also been well received.
