The film tells a true story. On the first day of the war in Lebanon in June 1982, four young Israeli soldiers drove a tank alone and were asked to fight with a team of ground soldiers. The first task of the force is to enter Lebanese civilian villages to remove terrorists who appear to be the PLO. Commander Jamiri described the mission's operation as "quick and easy", but as the soldiers entered the village, the seemingly simple task quickly became complex and eventually turned into a massacre nightmare. From the moment the mission was dispatched, they lost contact with other troops and four soldiers were taken to a death trap. Lebanon shows the chaotic and complex war in the Middle East, and the film inevitably involves political issues. But most importantly, the director hopes to depict through the film the awakening of four young people in their early twenties who suddenly find themselves in the cruel reality of killing civilians. None of them are heroes, and no one wants to be heroes. Their survival instincts and human values are in a fierce struggle, which is a creepy human tragedy.
