Liberty: Mother of Exiles (2019)

HBO will launch the documentary "Freedom: the Mother of the homeless" (Liberty: Mother of Exiles), a famous New York statue of Liberty, which will air this fall. The film will explore the history and significance of the statue and the story behind it as an immigrant, from the perspective of Diane von Furstenberg, a fashion designer and an important fundraiser for the New Statue of Liberty Museum. The exploration will involve many characters associated with the Statue of Liberty: descendants of the statue's planners É douard Ren é Lef è bvre de Laboulaye, Alexander Gustav Eiffel and others, street artists influenced by the Statue of Liberty, factory workers, residents of Liberty Island before Hurricane Sandy, etc. The film is directed by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, who have made many films for HBO and Cinemax ("Party Monster" and "Robert Meppler Thorpe: look at those photos").
