Little Buddha (1993)

Two eminent monks from Bhutan came all the way to Seattle to find the reincarnated boy of one of their former masters. They found the nine-year-old boy Jesse (played by Alex Vincent Danji Alex Wiesendange) and hoped to take him back to the temple for verification. Jesse's parents promise to take their son to Bhutan, and in their relationship with the Lama, they intermittently tell a fascinating story about how he watched all the sufferings along the way from Buddha Sakyamuni or Prince Siddhartha (played by Keanu Reeves Keanu Reeves), and finally gave up his crown prince status and rich life to become a Buddha. From west to east, from one story to another, nine-year-old Jack's life has changed.
