Lobos de Arga (2011)

A man named Thomas Marino (Gocaotsa Gorka Otxoa), an unknown writer, is invited to return to his hometown of Alga, a remote village in Galicia, where he has been away for 20 years. He left at the age of 15, but the gap was quickly filled by the familiar smell of hometown and the usual enthusiasm of the villagers. However, the friendliness of the villagers was soon replaced by ferocious faces, and Thomas was bound and lost his freedom, all related to the local Marquis and terrorist curse at the beginning of the 20th century. It seems that in order to break the town's curse, Thomas and his hapless manuscript agents have become victims of dedication to werewolves. The film won the 2012 Portuguese Fantasy Film Festival critics Choice Award, the 2012 Asian Fantasy Film Festival audience Award, and the 2011 San Sebastian Horror and Fantasy Film Festival audience Award for Best Picture.
