Mateo Blanco (LLU í s Homar), a former film director who lost his sight in a car accident, changed his name to Harry Kane and lived a quiet life as a screenwriter. One day in 2008, a young man named Ray (Rui é n Ochandiano) visited Harry. Ray's idea for a movie once again opened the door to Harry's long-closed memory. In 1994, Mateo was working on a new film, and the beautiful girl Lena (Penelope Cruz) stood out in the audition. Lena is the female secretary of Ernest Martel (Jose é Luis G ó mez), the boss of a company, and the two have always maintained an intimate relationship. In order to treat her father with cancer, Lena committed herself to Ernest and became his mistress. Ernest couldn't stand Lena's request and agreed to invest and star her in Mateo's new film. During the shoot, Lena and Mateo had a spark of love, which was quickly learned by the sensitive Ernest. Love and hate have been entangled ever since.
