Marx può aspettare (2021)

This is a film directed by Marco Bellocchio, a documentary about the director's family, with special attention to Marco's twin brother Camillo, who died on December 27th, 1968. It involves the gray theme of mourning, the suffering between brothers and the similar tragic longing for his mother. Camilo died in an iconic year, 1968, a year of revolution, a year of rebellious youth, which he was never interested in. Camilo did not feel that he was part of a young revolutionary, so much so that in his last meeting with Marco, he said "Marx can wait"; however, in rebuilding the history of the Belozio family and the death of his brother one by one, the director inevitably mentions the year of the revolution, accompanied by Marxist papers. A red line inevitably connects Camilo with Marx, although the former is not interested in the latter.
