On the afternoon of April 28, 1988, Aloha Airlines Flight 243 took off from Hawaii to Honolulu. The flight uses B737, which is supervised by the co-pilot. The co-pilot is a 37-year-old woman with 8000 hours of flight, and the captain is 44 years old with 8500 hours of flight. The plane had just climbed to cruising altitude at 13:45 when the crew suddenly heard a loud noise overhead. A large ceiling above the middle of the cabin was gone, and the plane became an "convertible sports car." Only seat belts can prevent them from falling into the sea below.
