Mishehu Yohav Mishehu (2021)

The younger generation in Israel is eager to try everything new. Dani is pregnant. She is eager to find and tell Max the seeder at the party, but he is nowhere to be seen. Max has a new girlfriend, Ivy Shagger, and is busy experiencing violent sexual fantasies. What he did not know, however, was that Ivy Shagger was caught in an unexpected and seemingly impossible relationship, seeking true intersection, warmth and intimacy. Director Hardas. Ben. Aroya uses this film to ask what is meant by freedom, love and intimacy. The young generation, who feel that they are invincible in youth, have no restrictions or taboos, pursue novelty and excitement, and throw away everything like fast food, but their excitement cannot last long. Only by pursuing pain in sex can they really feel their own existence, but they are addicted to it. Seemingly confident and independent, but afraid of loneliness, wanting to love and longing for intimacy, but unable to show the real fragile side to others. Finally fall in love, but easily break each other's hearts; want to escape from reality, but be gnawed away by black hole-like emptiness and fear. The chapters in the film are intertwined, as if they are connected to each other, and the roles mirror each other, reflecting the bloody portrayal of this generation.
