Based on the 1852 American writer Melville's novel (it should be called "inspiration"), this film tells the story of a rich child Pierre living in a country house with his widowed mother. He is about to marry his girlfriend Lucy when a woman named Isabel emerges and claims to be his half-sister. He had to move to Paris with Isabel and start an incest love affair.
