12-year-old DJ (Mitchell Moso Mitchel Musso) is a fantasy guy. All day long, he found the abandoned old house of the old man across the street spooky and strange, and some nearby objects often disappeared. After careful observation, DJ found that all the missing items had been eaten by the old house, so the old man's missing wife must have been eaten, DJ thought. But adults and even friends think DJ is whimsical. The day before Halloween, DJ and his partner Jode (Sam Lerner Sam Lerner) accidentally throw the basketball in front of the old house. They watch a mysterious force suck the basketball into the house, and even the new partner Jenny (Spencer Locke Spencer Locke) almost becomes the delicacy of the old house. Now the friends believed DJ's story, but the adults still thought they were bullshitting. In order to stop the old house from continuing to eat people and do evil, the partners decided to fight it hand in hand to the end.
