Six years ago, NASA observed extraterrestrial civilization, but a survey ship crashed in Mexico on its way back. Since then, many parts of Mexico have been infected by alien mysterious creatures, and countless people have been killed. The United States sent troops to fight huge alien monsters, causing heavy casualties to each other. Los Angeles journalist Andre Carter (Scott McGonagall Scoot McNairy) accepts a rich man's request to go to an infected area of Mexico to find his daughter Samantha Wendon (Whitney Abel Whitney Able). Andre saw Samantha smoothly, and the two immediately boarded the train to the United States, but the train turned back halfway. They are forced to find other ways to return home, but their fate is unpredictable, and their way back seems to be fraught with dangers and obstacles. In desperation, Andre and Samantha had to walk through the dangerous infected zone.
