Mr. Canton and Lady Rose (1989)
Young Guo Zhenhua (Jackie Chan) goes to Hong Kong to seek development. When he sees that the road is uneven, he is involved in a struggle between two gangs, but he becomes a gang boss by mistake. Guo Zhenhua reflects on this adventure and finds that Lady Rose (Gui Yalei), who sells flowers on the street, has brought good luck to himself. from then on, he always buys Lady Rose's roses for peace of mind. Guo Zhenhua changed the gang-owned Ritz Hotel to a nightclub operation. Yang Luming (Anita Mui), the daughter of the former owner of the hotel, became a hit in the nightclub to pay off debts. Guo Yang and Guo Yang even developed a relationship. The Fujian gang, which has coveted the nightclub business for a long time, frequently attacked Guo Zhenhua. Guo, as always, sought luck from Mrs. Rose and accidentally found that Mrs. Rose was in more trouble. it turned out that she had made up her magnificent identity in order to make her daughter feel at ease with her studies. Now she is finally facing exposure. Guo is grateful to help Mrs. Rose lie, which leads to a series of jokes.
