Over the past century, Josephine Muzenbach has been controversial for its bold content. Although the novel was originally published anonymously, it is generally believed to have been written by the Austrian writer Felix Sarten, the author of Bambi. Although banned, Muzenbach is still a world masterpiece in Viennese literature. The documentary "Muzenbach" was set at the site of a coffin factory, with excerpts from the novel displayed in front of 100 male readers and asked to read some passages aloud.
