My Fair Lady (1964)
Eliza, the flower girl. Doolittle, handsome and clever, came from a humble background and came from a poor family. She goes to the street to sell flowers every day and earns some money to subsidize her family. One day, Eliza's vulgar voice attracted the attention of the linguist Professor Higgins, who boasted that as long as he was trained, a flower girl could become a lady. Eliza thought what the professor said was an opportunity for her, so she came to the door and asked the professor to train her. Pickering, a friend of the professor, bet with him that if Eliza was allowed to attend the ambassador's garden party to be held in six months' time without anyone finding out the truth, Pickering would bear all the costs of the experiment and Eliza's tuition fees. This aroused the professor's morale, and Higgins gladly accepted the challenge. He is not to be outdone, he starts with the most basic letter pronunciation. Higgins is an energetic and scientific scholar who forgets to eat and sleep on everything he is interested in. He was magnanimous and harmless, but like a child, he had no regard for other people's feelings and trained Eliza strictly.
