Nick of Time (1995)

Weston (Johnny Depp Johnny Depp)'s ex-wife dies, with his youngest daughter Lynn (Courtney Chase), and the grieving father and daughter go to Los Angeles to attend his ex-wife's funeral. To Weston's surprise, as soon as he arrived at his destination, he and his daughter were kidnapped. The men and women who kidnapped them are named Smith (Christopher Walken Christopher Walken) and Jones (Roman Mafya Roma Maffia). The kidnapper tells Weston that within 70 minutes, Weston must kill California Governor Grant (Martha Marson Marsha Mason), otherwise his daughter will die. With an innocent governor on one side and a beloved daughter on the other, what choice would Weston make? As the incident unfolded, Weston was surprised to find that the chief culprit in planning the whole time was none other than the governor's most trusted staff.
