The plot is adapted from a true story and describes the Normarys working in a cotton mill in a small town in the south. The environment is very bad, and the workers are mercilessly exploited by the capitalists. Later, the ACFTU sent an organizer to help organize the local union, which was ridiculed by the workers and unreasonably stopped by the boss. But Norma, who had the courage to challenge unreasonable things, came forward under the influence of the organizers and finally formed the first trade union in the factory.
