Not Without My Daughter (1991)

Quot;Moody" is an Iranian doctor who lives in the United States with his American wife Betty and child Mahtob. In order to see his country again, he persuaded his wife to spend a short holiday there with him and Mahtob. Betty was reluctant at first because she thought Iran was not a pleasant place, especially if you were an American woman. When she arrived in Iran, she seemed to expect the worst, and Moody announced that they would settle there. In the end, Betty decided to flee Iran, but her daughter.
