This film is a typical Christie reasoning detective film. Two years ago, the hitchhiker Jack dropped an address book in the car of paleontologist Dr. Arthur. When Arthur returned it to Jack, he was surprised to hear that Jack had been hanged for murdering his rich mother. Arthur was surprised because Jack was in his car at the time of the crime.
