How on earth did man acquire the great power to change the planet Earth? Looking at the night view of the earth from outer space, we can witness man's control and use of energy, as well as its importance to human existence. No one can do without energy. We use energy to build shelter, illuminate houses and, more importantly, energy is indispensable to life itself. If there is no energy for survival from food, only death greets human beings. But what exactly is energy? And what makes human beings inseparable from it? To solve the mystery, scientists have discovered and summed up a series of laws that cover everything from engines to humans to stars, and it turns out that vital energy is also helping humans understand the entire universe. The purpose of these two documentaries is to tell the story of man's journey to discover the laws of the universe. Along the way, human beings finally realized that no matter which form of energy could not escape the fate of decomposition and dissipation.
