Morgan Freeman and Frank Grillo will star in the new action film Panama. The film is based on real events and is set in Panama in 1989. James Becker (Grillo), an able-bodied and decorated former Marine, is sent by his former commander, Stark (Freeman), to execute a high-value deal. Because of the chaos of the local civil war, Becker had to negotiate with assassins and beauties to complete the task. Accompanied by Stark, Becker was desperate to stick it out, hoping to get home alive. The film, directed by Daniel Adams and co-authored with William R. Barber, will begin filming in November.
