Pompeii: Life & Death in a Roman Town (2010)
The ancient city of Pompeii in Rome is one of the victims of famous volcanic eruptions in history. We all know how the victims died in that disaster, but this film focuses on another question: what is their way of life? Mary Beard, a professor at the University of Cambridge and an expert on the history of Pompeii, gathered new data from unusual discoveries to show us the lives of Pompeii residents before the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius.
