A man who calls himself a "newspaper man" quietly appeared on the Internet, uploading a video claiming to lynch some people or companies who are constantly behaving. At first, netizens scoffed, but the newspaper man actually took action. The newspaper man's behavior incited people's long-suppressed hearts of justice, and he got more and more fans. As a matter of fact, the newspaper man is by no means alone. He is composed of "Gates" Hiroshi Okuda (Dozhen Shinagata), "Kansai" Masahiko Kansai (Liangping Suzuki), "Nobita" Hiroichi Kimura (Hiroshi Hamada) and Shinichi Masahara (Yoshihiro Arakawa) of the "fat pier" temple. Four people with different backgrounds have fallen to the bottom of society. They have witnessed the cruelest side of the world and forged a thick friendship far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The newspaper men joined hands to conduct a public trial of the world, while the police department of the Cyber Crime Unit, Arika Yoshino (Huili Toda), went all out to track down the stories behind these men. This film is based on Tetsuya Nakai's original comic book.
