Ratcatcher (1999)

The story takes place in Glasgow in 1973. It's been a tough summer for boy James (William Eddie William Eadie). The scorching sun can't lift one's spirits, and the general strike of the cleaners turned the street into a garbage dump full of rotten garbage. Of course, these are not the most important. What makes James uncomfortable is the death of his friend Ryan (Thomas McTaggart). It is his death that is inextricably linked to him.
