In 2020, a not-so-distant year in the future, many changes have taken place in the whole world. At that time, human boxing was no longer allowed. Instead, all kinds of robots stepped into the ring to continue this hot sport and please the public. Former boxer Charlie Kenton (Hugh Jackman Hugh Jackman) doesn't seem so lonely. He quickly adapts to the development of the times and takes the trained robot to the ring again and again. But one bad luck after another, he was unexpectedly defeated, heavily in debt, then received the news of the sudden death of his ex-girlfriend, and met his son, 11-year-old Max (Dakota Gaoyou Dakota Goyo). In an accident, Max met an obsolete sparring robot, Atom.
