In the peaceful and peaceful city of Bushi, Iwate Prefecture, Japan, ordinary people lead a leisurely life. But at 14:46 on March 11, 2011, the highest magnitude earthquake in the history of world seismological observation suddenly struck, and the resulting tsunami flooded familiar streets, looking out into a dead ocean. The other half of Kamaishi escaped the disaster, and the gymnasium of an abandoned local middle school was used to temporarily house the bodies of the victims. In the muddy and slippery gymnasium, the original fresh breath of life was cut off. Professional doctor Koizumi (Sato Hiroshi) and dentist Masaaki Masaaki (Toshiro willow) endure the identification and dissection work, while some people were petrified. Ye Changfu (Toshihiro Nishida), a retired man who once worked in a funeral home, was grieving. The death was already so cruel, and the scene of the deceased lying on the cold, dirty floor made him unable to help himself. Sangye volunteered as a volunteer to help firefighters and government officials arrange their bodies, comfort their families and offer sacrifices to cross over. To him, they are not the dead, but victims in dire need of love and respect. Rough and muddy, it is this road to the future.
