The story of Jack the Ripper has spread all over the world, and more than 120 years later, the notorious serial killer still has a frightening influence, but no one knows the truth. But this wind of darkness and suspense has made it excavated and repeated many times. In 1888, a series of murders around Whitechapel in East London sent Victorian London into a cloud of fear. The murderer's code name, Jack the Ripper, wrote to the police many times during the crime to provoke him, but he was never caught. His bold modus operandi has been repeatedly exaggerated by the media and caused panic in British society. Division H of the Metropolitan Police is on a mission to quell panic after Jack the Ripper's crime and to bring the elusive culprit to justice. The detective in charge of the case, Edmund Reid (Matthew McFayden Matthew Macfadyen) and Bennett Drake (Jerome Flynn Jerome Flynn), will work together to find Jack the Ripper.
