Roman Polanski (Roman Polanski) boarded a plane to Paris in Los Angeles on Feb. 1, 1978, and has not returned to the United States since then, even though his 2003 film The Pianist won an Oscar for best picture. As recently as 1968, Polanski spent a lot of money on a luxury house in the Benedict Valley in Beverly Hills, located on the famous Tsiero Avenue. Although Polanski still has a French passport, with the hit release of Rosemary's Baby, he is ready to settle in the United States. In 2008, Polanski, 75, was once again in the spotlight at the Sundance Film Festival when he ran away 30 years ago and a sex scandal that made him infamous in Park, Utah, not too far from Los Angeles. Yes, many people still remember the high-profile case when Polanski had illegal sex with a 13-year-old girl at Jack Jack Nicholson's house in 1977.
