Royal Shakespeare Company: King Lear (2016)

King Lear (Romayne Andrews) is old and decides to divide his vast territory among his three daughters Cordelia (Natalie Simpson), Genellar (Nia Gwynne) and Reagan (Oliver Johnstone). King Lear asked his three daughters to express their love for their father. Genalier and Reagan tried their best to get the admiration of King Lear. Cordelia, the youngest daughter, was ruthlessly expelled. Cordelia, who lost her home, became queen of France, while the eldest daughter and second daughter, who had acquired large tracts of her father's territory, drove King Lear out of the house. It was not until he was wandering into the wilderness that King Lear realized that he had made a big mistake. while blaming his ignorance, he was heartbroken by Cordelia. Knowing the situation of King Lear, Cordelia organized the army to attack her hometown. Unfortunately, the army suffered a fiasco and Cordelia was arrested. In the end, Cordelia was executed, and the old King Lear followed in pain.
