Somebody Up There Likes Me (1996)
Although Ken (Kwok) was born in a family of books, he did not like books and sports. In order to pursue his dream, he came to the boxing club to work as a handyman. At a banquet, he and the innocent Gloria (Li Ruotong) looked at each other happily, and they soon fell in love. After having love, Ken's ideals are like wings planted. In a boxing match, Ken accidentally killed Gloria's brother, and the two parted ways. However, Ken did not give up his boxing career because of this. Instead, he studied from a famous teacher (Jinbao Hung) in order to improve his skills. Ken's efforts finally moved Gloria, and the two got back together. With Gloria's encouragement, Ken decided to fulfill Gloria's brother's last wish to challenge the Asian boxing champion.
