Sonatine (1993)

Murakawa (Takeshi Kitano), a cadre of the Kitajima group, was sent to Okinawa to assist the brother gang against the Anan group because of his poor relationship with the big boss. The arrival of Murakawa and others seems to intensify the original contradiction, and the confrontation between the two sides continues to escalate. In a bar shootout, Muragawa's men were shot and killed, and then he and his staff Pian Tong (Da Suan Lian), Ken (Temple Road Jin) and others hid in the seaside cabin for a while to avoid the limelight. On the golden beach, this group of men who have experienced blood play games full of innocence. However, their carefree happiness could not last long, and the Kitajima group and the Anan group secretly joined forces to completely eradicate Muragawa and others. The film won the Japanese Film Academy Award for Best Film soundtrack in 1994 and the Film critic Award at the 1995 Cognac Film Festival in France.
