Stingo (Peter McNico Peter MacNicol), a young writer from the southern United States, comes to Brooklyn to make a living and meets Sophie (Meryl Streep Meryl Streep) and Nathan (Kevin Klein Kevin Kline) who live upstairs. They enthusiastically expressed their hope to make friends with the young writer, and Stingo gladly accepted their invitation. After gradually interacting with each other, they established a close and friendly relationship with each other.
