The film consists of three episodes: the first part: Germania "Germania"; the second part: Nuremberg "N ü rnberg"; the third part: Spandao "Spandau". They are the three ages of Albert Speer's life. Germania is the name of the new capital of the third Reich designed by Hitler. So the first episode tells the story of Speer from the first time he met Speer to how he was appreciated and became Hitler's best friend. The film uses a lot of ink to describe the friendship between Speer and Hitler. It is worth mentioning that although the rise and fall of the third Reich says that there are a group of "homosexuals" at the top of the Nazis. But Speer's relationship with Hitler was not like this. Hitler himself hated homosexuality and punished senior generals for it. Nuremberg mainly reflects how the Nuremberg International military Tribunal tried Nazi dignitaries after the war. Speer was sentenced to 20 years in prison for not being directly involved in the Holocaust and attacking other countries, and refusing to destroy German industrial facilities at the end of the war. But in court, Speer's attempt to assassinate Hitler to end the war was revealed, causing Deputy Fuhrer Rudolf Hess, Imperial Marshal Goering and others to break with Speer.
