David (Dirk Benedict Dirk Benedict) is a simple college student who is photographed by snake scientist Stoner (Strother Martin Strother Martin) and becomes his assistant. Later, David learned that Stoner's former assistant had inexplicably disappeared. In order to prevent David from being poisoned by snake bites, David has no doubt that Stoner injected David with a mysterious serum before he began his career as an assistant. Stoner has a beautiful daughter named Christina (Heather Menzies Ulrich Heather Menzies-Urich), and the two young people fall in love with each other day and night. There were a lot of strange physiological reactions in David, and Stoner comforted him that it was just a normal side effect of the vaccine. One day, David saw a half-human and half-snake snake man on a freak show. His body changes are strikingly similar to the changes that have taken place in David.
