On the Kurong coast in southern Australia, a 10-year-old boy named Mike lives by the lake with his father and makes a living by fishing. One day, Mike found poachers shooting Daigo by the lake. Fortunately, the black hunter Bosevo arrived in time to drive away the poachers. Mike and Bosevo became friends and brought home the little pelican who had lost his mother to raise, and established a deep relationship with the pelican. The film revolves around the relationship between Mike and the pelican and tells the story of how he protects the pelican. The pelican is a kind of waterfowl, likes to eat fish, and is very spiritual. The film is based on Colin. Dili's novel of the same name is adapted.
