Sufat Chol (2016)

The heartbroken Jalila was busy arranging the wedding of her husband and his second wife. The wedding banquet ended when she unexpectedly discovered that her daughter had a taste of her first love at school. The daughter, who longed for freedom, was so whimsical that she decided to take her boyfriend back to the tribe where marriage values were closed to meet her parents. Mother and daughter are exhausted between their own happiness, family affection, family face and traditional norms. The director's first feature-length film, from the perspective of a young girl's desire to get rid of the shackles of tradition, delves deeply into the conflict between the Bedouin patriarchal society and the modern society, depicting the touching relationship between mother and daughter.
