Thirty years ago, when the private lives of Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears were not yet the subject of after-dinner conversation, Miss Wyoming Joyce McKinney was the subject of gossip in the media. Director Morris's camera followed the experience of the beauty queen to uncover her promiscuous journey. Joyce is blond, blue-eyed and has an IQ of 168, but she devoted her youth to the wrong man of her dreams-he took her halfway around the world, sent her to prison, exposed their sex life, and put her on the front page of the tabloids. Joyce's complex love maze made her face a surreal world, including armed kidnapping, Mormons, indecent photos, magic underwear and dissolute sex life, until one day her endless dream finally hit the rocks in South Korea.
