This is a story about Chinese illegal immigrants working and living in New York. Ding Ming, the protagonist in the play, was beaten by two gangsters before he got up at the beginning of the movie, and ordered him to hand over $800 in usury fees smuggled into the United States that day, so he began a crazy busy day. His companions who work in restaurants even sacrifice their working hours for him, just to help him pay off his debts as soon as possible.
