Ann (Katie Holmes Katie Holmes) is a girl who works very hard academically. Her only dream is to leave the lifeless town where she lives, and getting a full scholarship from the school will be the only way for her to realize that dream. However, no matter how hard Ann tried, her grades still lagged behind the first Mary in the school, which made Ann feel very distressed. In order to get a better score, Ann decides to please her teacher, Mrs. Dingle (Helen Mirren Helen Mirren), who is in charge of life and death. No matter how severely Mrs. Dingle treats Ann, she can only greet her with a smile. In a misunderstanding, Mrs. Dingle thought that Ann had cheated in the exam. In order to clear up the misunderstanding, Ann decided to take her friend to Mrs. Dingle. Who knows, when they met Mrs. Dingle, the situation soon got out of their control.
