In 128 BC, the majestic ancient Roman Empire. Lucius Mudster (Frogman) was a bath designer who lived in Hadrian's time, but he was so conventional and poor at innovation that he gradually lagged behind the times. One day, Lucis accidentally drowned in the bath. when he stood up from the water, he found himself in a completely strange world. There are no well-built, sharp-eyed Romans around, but a group of short "flat faces" with strange languages in novels. He did not realize that he happened to fall into the tunnel of time and space and came to Japan in the 21st century. To the great blow to Lucis' profession and national self-esteem, this group of flat-faced people have accumulated countless strange ideas in the bath culture. He brought these ideas back to ancient Rome and used them in his own design, and the results were very popular. Before he knew it, Lucius opened up a new world of career. This film is based on a cartoon of the same name by Mari Yamazaki.
