Testament (1983)

Leanne Littman, the female TV director who directed the film for the first time, showed extraordinary talent in the film, and Jane Alexander and William Divan also had wonderful, meticulous and moving performances in the film. The plot makes up the story of a family who narrowly escaped a nuclear war in California to survive in an extremely difficult environment. The film adopts a semi-documentary approach, observing the life changes of the people in the play day after day, making the audience reflect on the great tragedy of human beings facing nuclear war from their near-personal experience, and implicitly encouraging people to take measures to stop the occurrence of such events imdb:7.5/10 (891 votes)
