The Admiral (2014)
The Korean dynasty in 1597 was in danger, and the main force of the North Korean navy suffered a huge blow with the demotion of Senior General Li Shunchen (Choi Min-sik). The military discipline collapsed, leaving only a small number of warships. And the Japanese pirates are waiting for an opportunity to send Hanban Anzhi (Zhao Zhenxiong) to cooperate with the frightening "King of Sea Thief" to attack the pirate army of the general manager of the island (Liu Chenglong), which is bound to conquer Hanyang. At a critical moment, Li Shunchen decided to lead the remaining dozen warships to the Mingliang Strait to fight the Japanese invaders. Li Shunchen first dispatched his subordinate Ren Junyong (Jin Jiu) to meet the enemy undercover Junsha (Qingyan Otani), and revived the morale of the army, with the spirit of "the brave live, the fear of death", calling for a fight to the death with the Japanese invaders. At the beginning of the decisive battle, Li Shunchen takes the lead in defending the Blood Island and defeats several advance armies of the "King of the Sea Thief". At the critical moment, Ren Junyong's dumb wife (Li Zhenxian) reads his lips and plays a role, which makes Li Shunchen successfully rescue the ship. In the end, the army and the people worked together to deal a heavy blow to the Japanese fleet and created a famous battle in the history of world naval warfare.
