On the night of November 13, 1974, the villa area of Deer Hunt Park, long Island, New York, USA. The Defoe family's 23-year-old son Ronald (Brandon Donaldson Brendan Donaldson) suddenly went crazy and killed all six members of the family in the dead of night. After being arrested by the police, he claimed that he was driven by the devil, although the judge did not listen to his confession, but the incident was still noisy for a while. A year later, the Leeds, who were looking forward to a new life, bought the Defoe house at a very low price. But since the day they moved in, all kinds of strange events have happened continuously, and become more and more intense. The whole family was so disturbed that they decided to move out of this horror, but the real danger was just coming. Based on real events, this film is a remake of a work of the same name, and won the Best Horror scene Award of the Youth Choice Award in 2005.
