George (Freddie Hemer Freddie Highmore) is a smart kid who always doodles in class, so he never finishes any homework and will face the dilemma of not being able to graduate. And the school beauty Sally (Emma Roberts Emma Roberts) hides a sad inner world beneath her popular appearance. Sally and George found that they had a lot in common and became friends and liked each other. George desperately wanted to escape from high school after learning that it was difficult to get a high school diploma. Because he had a unique skill in painting, he wanted to use it to restrain himself, so he became an apprentice to the artist Dustin (played by Michael Angrano Michael Angarano). Dustin saw the potential in George and George seemed to find a direction in life, but his long-standing lazy style hindered his progress.
