A failed arms deal has heated the confrontation between the two Koreas in the German capital Berlin. North Korean ambassador Li Xuexiu (Li Qingrong) and spy Pao Zongsheng (he Zhengyu) find another cold-blooded spy from the motherland, Dong Mingxiu (Yoo Seung-fan), in Berlin, and the regime change fills their hearts with foreboding after years of drifting abroad. In the meantime, Zong Sheng had to follow the party's instructions to monitor the whereabouts of his wife, the ambassador's personal interpreter Lian Zhenxi (played by Quan Zhixian). On the other hand, the head of the South Korean intelligence agency Jiang (Han Shikyu), who suffered a setback in the pursuit of the arms trade, is unwilling to fail and continues to trace Zongsheng. After the failure of the ambassador's defection plan, Zong Sheng learned the real purpose of Dong Mingxiu's visit to Berlin. In order to avoid becoming a victim of the power struggle and eliminating the target, he had to run away with his wife.
