The Big Heat (1953)
Detective Dave Bannion is investigating the suicide of a police officer, and everything goes well until a bar girl claims that she has evidence that the officer was murdered, and Bonnion's superiors tell him to stay out of the case. When no suspect was found, Bannion suspected it was the mob boss, Lagana, who feverishly took his free life from the dirt. Later, a bomb pointed at Bannion killed an innocent bystander, so Bannion, like a white-hot sword of revenge, began to deal with this corrupt world alone.
