The Captive Heart (1946)

In June 1940, just after the Dunkirk retreat, thousands of British prisoners of war were sent to concentration camps in Germany. Geoffrey Mitchell, one of the few people who escaped from the concentration camp, was already on the list of soldiers killed in battle. In order not to reveal his identity, he had no choice but to play games with his late husband's Celia.
