The Cherry Orchard (1999)

Lonnevskaya (Charlotte Lamplin Charlotte Rampling) was once a golden lady born with a golden spoon. One day, she thought of the cherry orchard that her family used to have, so she decided to return to her hometown. However, Longnevskaya has long been accustomed to unrestrained extravagance, leaving debt on the verge of bankruptcy and had to start thinking about selling the cherry orchard to offset the debt. The father of Robaxine (Owen Tier Owen Teale) was a slave who worked in the cherry orchard. Now, Robaxine, who has long been free, has become a calculating businessman. Robaxin suggested that Lonev Scaya cut down all the cherry trees in the garden and build some villas for rent, but Lonev Scaya rejected Robaxine's suggestion and remained immersed in unrealistic fantasies.
