Omar Metwali Omar Metwally, a 28-year-old doctoral student, decided to write a biographical novel about writer Jules Guardian, whose future and career are closely linked. According to related records, Jules has already committed suicide, and his brother Adam (Anthony Hopkins Anthony Hopkins), wife Caroline (Laura Linny Laura Linney) and mistress Arden (Charlotte Gansbu Charlotte Gainsbourg) are the only three people in the world who are associated with Jules. For some reason, all three rejected Omar's request for a license for the novel. Persuaded by his girlfriend Tidley (Alexandra Maria Lana Alexandra Maria Lara), the unreconciled Omar decided to visit their mansion in a remote town in Uruguay. Omar's arrival broke the tranquillity of the town, and a dusty past gradually surfaced.
