Robert McNamara (Robert McNamara) was the field commander of the United States during World War II, the first president of the Ford Motor Company outside the Ford family, and the Secretary of Defense of the Kennedy and Johnson administrations. In a nearly 24-hour interview, documentary director Errol Morris made the documentary "the Fog of War," reviewing McNamara's life, especially when he helped General Curtis Li Mei carry out massive artillery bombardment of 67 Japanese cities, including Tokyo, help the Kennedy administration deal with the Cuban missile incident and negotiate the withdrawal of troops from Vietnam before President Kennedy was assassinated. Morris summed up 11 lessons from McNamara, which are of great guiding significance to the future government on how to deal with military disputes and how to prevent the occurrence of destructive nuclear war. The film won the Oscar for Best documentary and the Los Angeles Film critics Association for Best documentary.
